Marketing Perspective: The Influencer
With today's time, you can find almost anything by searching things up and viewing it on social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc. Social media influencers are successfully becoming more and more interesting to their targeted audience and are becoming more popular by the work they do on a daily basis. In "The Influencers" article they share how celebrities are making millions of dollars by simple video content, wearing specific logos, making viewers laugh, etc.
As someone who loves social media, I believe that each social media influencer is brillant. To them, things may come naturally but as a viewer, I see that they're fearless, creative and just confident in themselves. As their following numbers increase, some of their privacy is taken simply because of how noticeable and famous they've become on social media. They have to stay committed to posting content, remain relevant and engaging with their audience. Ones with a bigger following number are able to make partnership deals with big brand names and influence followers to buy specific products.
To remain successful on social media, these influencers have to find a way to engage with their followers and remain different than any other influencer there is. A brilliant strategy that I've seen work is when influencers collaborate with one another; they work as a team to create content that attracts both audiences and increases their followers up on both ends. Another strategy is they share real life experiences that their audience can relate to which plays a huge role in their following numbers because although experiences can be similar to others, they deliverance can be completely different. Having a true connection with your audience is super important and the biggest role of a social media influencer because that's what makes your career.
With discussing marketing, I believe influencers play a huge role. They help businesses increase their audience and sales by promoting the brand, brand awareness. Influencers also share their opinions and can create content with specific products to encourage the followers to buy or even look into these brands. For instance, Kim Kardashian has her brand, SKIMS, and one of her promoting strategies are to have very successful celebrities model in her brand. These photos of celebrities in her brand encourages people to view and buy her products because the see how others view it and are eager to try them out as well.
A company's marketing perspective impacts its relationship with consumers by simply interacting; Building their consumers trust, loyalty and perception so that they can feel connected to the brand. Having loyal consumers helps with sales and promoting the brand itself. I also believe that transparency is important to have with their consumers because they're the ones who can make the company successful or the other way around.
